I can honestly say...

I'd buy one.

I have no idea what the frak that thing is but...

It's pretty good. Defiantly an great use of shading which gave it a nice murky, depressing feel, that both gives the piece the ambiance of being in the swampy cave like environment these thing would live in where it real, and adding a tad hint of sorrow for this tragic looking creature.

It's cool, but...

It would be better if it was from a front perspective rather than from the side, and if it were a bit bigger.

Yeah, perhaps a bit bigger since I sorta made him the size I'd make a human at, but sprites are pretty small most of the time, so I'm not sure if you had a problem with it as general art or as pixel art. Front view would make his P more clear, but I think the side view turned out alright.

I'd like to see a cartoon in the futur.

I'd ether like a monster myself, or be best friends with that kid.

I like the cartoonish style and the little details like the hat and the confused look on the monsters face.

There are no female class' in TF2. Maybe that's what Valve is working on for the tenth class. Anyway, Nice pic.

Nice,but...

What might make the picture have a little more umph or make it more bold, you could only color the Chief or his visor or something like that. But I'm not going to tell you how to do your job. Good work anyway.
